About

I do internet things, isn't it.

I also write (occasionally about technology), produce websites and make videos on my own and with friends - but if you want to know more about how I earn a living, you're better off checking out my LinkedIn profile.

  1. Hi Helen,
How are you doing? It has been such a long time without hearing from you. I am doing quite well, I have a son of nearly three years old, he is very funny and I am very glad very him. A nice boy nicknamed Bishou. How about your life? Sometimes, I do search on internet to know how some friends are going on the net, and I sometimes have a look to your website and other websites which speak about you. Are married now? Do you news of some friends? How about Gaggan?
I am lauching a health’s magazine here in Equatorial Guinea and I want to to design our website. I am quite sure you can do an attractive website for me and since they have asked to plan something about the website, I have just thought about you. Please can you tell me if you agree to do the job, what do you need for it and how much should I have to pay for that. PLEASE, FEEL FREE TO PRICE YOUR WORK.
I very much look after hearing from you. Lol

  2. Hi – our epilepsy experiences sound similar. I have temporal lobe epilepsy and an appalling memory that is perhaps getting worse. My epilepsy was diagnosed aged 18 despite frequent “fits” at school. They take the form of deja vu, memory loss and involuntary hand/arm movements.

I am not stupid (degree, etc). However, my memory problems have led to nastiness in the workplace. I don’t plan to work again because of attitudes towards my epilepsy. And I have two children. (I’m 40).

If I decide to approach employers about occasional feature writing from home, do you know of any tolerant organisations/people?

I’ve left my email (your leave a comment box). However, please don’t put my details online. I seem to attract obsessive men, for whatever reason… I don’t want to be pursued online/by text!!!

  3. I’m one of the many that have followed you on Twitter today. You’ve Tweeted saying this is where you rant and not for us? Fine. As with every follow, I’ll give it a week and decide.

However, congratulations and applause for bringing this to the public’s attention. I don’t have what you have, but what I have means that sometimes I’m confused and don’t know what’s going on … and to a limited degree that is similar with you. I know it can’t be, but it would be good if sometime people recognised that normal looking people speak complete nonsense.

  4. Dear Helen,
I came across your blog and I would like to get in contact with you to invite you to Young Epilepsy Champions Awards. My email address is shannon-dixon@hotmail.co.uk, it would be great if you could drop me an email so I can send you across some more information about the event.
    Thanks
    Shannnon
